Malama Elementary School (Bagacay Extension) is a
combination elementary school with a total land area of 2,110
square meters. It is situated at the southwestern point 26
kilometers away from the heart of Ligao City.
It was purchased by the barangay council of Malama,
Ligao City in the amount of 41,000 in 2009. Malama
Elementary School (Bagacay Extension) in its early years of
establishments considering its catchment area were Tandurura,
and Tupas. It has 2 permanent teachers and 1 kindergarten
teacher volunteer to cater to the needs of sixty-four (64) pupils.
There was a gradual increase in the enrolment and the number
of teacher's need to be added. Nevertheless, the quality of
learning was maintained if not increased.
At present, Malama Elementary School (Bagacay
Extension) is a quality learning center 64 pupils with 3
dedicated and efficient teaching personnel headed by a
teacher-in-charge, and with adequate learning facilities for an
effective, conducive and child friendly learning climate.
